Pixell, based in Bonn, will operate as a separate company, but will work closely with the TravelTainment team to offer customers the best possible options to maximise online sales and marketing opportunities.
Andy Owen-Jones, chief executive of TravelTainment, said: ‘Pixell's know-how makes it possible for us to offer even better products for online marketing and the acquisition of new customers on the internet in future.
‘These services are essential for our portal customers and are becoming increasingly important when competing for online customers.’
Pixell’s Travel Suite will provide automatic distribution of relevant offers from the TravelTainment internet booking engines through marketing channels, social networking and mobile devices.
This means mutual customers, such as Expedia or TUI, can easily add pinpointed context-sensitive offers to complex banner or adword campaigns.
The Travel Suite automatically updates each campaign, including the availability and pricing of holiday offers.
